Rod's Duck Farm - Color the Duck

Sometimes folks have to think about names for critters .... sort of like Adam had to name everything.
This is Two-Lips duck. Two-Lips is planting tulips for spring. She seems to be happy enough. Maybe if others planted tulips, they would be happy ...... try it .... plant some tulips.

Rod's Duck Farm - Ducks & Peanut Butter Moon Pies!

The duck in the front is a duck whistle ..... $1.70, Made in Bali, from my Mother. It is quite the quacker.
WalMart started selling Peanut Buttter Moon Pies. Then they mostly quit doing that. Then, at the Fayetteville Arkansas WalMart store, they reappeared. Cassandra, one of the Machine  Shop students, rediscovered the Fayetteville Moon Pies! There is no bettter day than to have a Duck Whistle and Peanut Buter Moon Pies.

Rod's Duck Farm - Brave New Duck World!!!

World of Ducks (Click Here)

New York has declared a world of ducks!
Junior Duck Stamp Program - To Promote Education and Creativity

The Federal Junior Duck Stamp Program is an art and science curriculum designed to teach youngsters about environmental science and habitat conservation. Across the country, students from kindergarten through grade 12 pick a species of waterfowl, learn about its natural history and habitat needs and then paint it. For the contest, students compete in one of four grade categories: K-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. The national winner receives a $2500 prize.

Rod's Duck Farm .... duck or fox?

I'm a Mallard, live in a large pond full of guppies and tadpoles. Human beings stop by in the mornings and evenings to toss pieces of bread along the bank of the pond.

Rod's Duck Farm Spider Removal Technique

Brown Recluse Spider - How to remove it from somebody's ear - the Rod's Duck Farm Way
1. Get a flashlight. Look in the ear.
2. Get some water. Pour it into the ear.
3. Get tweezers. Grasp a spider leg and pull.

Leta Mae had "something" in her ear. She wanted it evicted. With a flashlight, I looked in the ear and saw two spider legs and said, "Hmmmmmmmmm."

Remembering the Itsy Bitsy Spider, I instructed Leta Mae to turn her head in such a way that the ear canal was pointing up. Pouring water into the ear did not seem to do much good so I located some tweezers (a manicure kit is a good place to look for tweezers). I was concerned that I would have to fight with the spider and his leg might break off but apparently the spider was sufficiently comatose from being drowned with the water - he came out like a piece of lint.
