Where Do the Wild Ducks Go? - by Steve Renfro

Where do the Wild Ducks go when they go away?
Do they travel at night when they fly away?
Where do the Wild Ducks go...
Do they take their babies, do they know the way?
Where do the Wild Ducks go...
How do you love me so well?
How do you love me...

Interesting Poem. That's pretty much what my first wife said when she left.
"I'm just leaving you once. You left me EVERY DAY!"
"How is that I asked?"
"You went to work. You left me!"
The HR guy at my job said, "IBM would love you. You're what they call a "wild duck".
All I know to say is that a wild duck is migratory. It does not "go away". It migrates. It goes in circles. To the extent that the sun and the moon "go away", a wild duck goes away. The wild duck takes nothing ... not the babies, not anything else. Sometimes other ducks are going the same way at the same time. That is their option. The shotgun shoots one duck at a time. Which one gets shot is not the duck's choice. When the gun misses the duck, the duck does not "fly away". The duck merely continues to fly. The whistle on the train does not change pitch except to the observer. It is called the "Dopler Effect" in science. In religion, it is called "And lo I am with you always, even to the end of time." In little kid talk......
What do you say when someone is sad?
"I care about you."
What if everybody in the world is sad? Waht do you say?
"I care about you,
I care about you,
I care about you,
I care about you......."
